PowerPoint Tutorial : Turning an entire folder of pictures into a PowerPoint slide show.
This solution is for users who use PowerPoint to show large number of images in their presentations. Previous versions of PowerPoint did not have capabilities of importing images en masse very easily but Microsoft has come a long way since the early days. Following tutorials include screenshots which explain how to dump an entire folder of pictures into a PowerPoint presentation.
Step 1: Create a new PowerPoint Presentation
File -> New

Step 2: Go to the New Photo Album Menu
Insert -> Picture -> New Photo Album

Step 3: Click on the File/Disk Button

Step 4: Select all the files for the Presentation.
You will likely need to use your mouse to select the files.
An easy solution is to click somewhere in the empty window and hit CTRL + A to select them all.
When done, click Insert.

Step 5: Pick Options
Under Picture layout section, choose the “1 picture” option.
Fiddle with other settings if you must and click “Create“.
